Taken directly from a chapter in.... In case you do not think that constipation or bloating has anything to do with making progress... Or your grandparents' cholesterol problems… I hope those of you who think constipation has nothing to do with many of your body's ailments and are living miserable, limited and inactive lives are only going to get worse in elderly life, if you make it that long. You will more likely die an early death. If you didn't look as bad as you do now 20 years ago, what will you look like in another 20 years? Young and old, male and female alike, hear me now… If you do not have large, full and ‘healthy' bowel movements regularly (twice a day…), then ask yourself, “Am I sure I am eating ENOUGH food?” Because no matter what you believe causes constipation or, like far too many people believe, that it will go away on it's own eventually, step one is eating more food. If you want to feel better than you do now and know you need cleaned out on a more regular basis, all you have to do is make certain you are eating enough food for the most part. I assume you're already going to separate your foods correctly, but skipping meals, not eating your vegetables and cutting the calories back doesn't help you in the bathroom. That is unless of course you want stinky, milky, pasty, blotchy, dry, purple-ish looking, and easily bruising skin. Do you have high blood pressure, oily flesh, mid-day headaches or plan your day around potential bowel movements that never happen? These are all sure signs that you're still ‘backed' up even if you do ‘go' every day. Ever wonder why some people you know look like they have aged 20 years in under a decade? Sure, they may be smokers or drinkers or what not, but grandpa didn't go from hearty and healthy in stature to bony with a bloated abdomen for any other reason. He is literally full of crap from his years of constipation. Even if you are young, even if you have nice abs, if you have a bloated gut like a gorilla, you too are full of intestine clogging feces. Your health is going to get really bad because your immune system can't fight the toxins in your bowel fast enough to defend the rest of the body in this condition. You lose muscle and your belly only gets bigger and bigger as the colon loses more and more control. I spent a lot of time on the crapper straining my brains out from as early as I could remember to as late in life as being on this diet full time. I would get gas so bad as a kid my parents would sit me on the toilet and wouldn't let me leave until there was evidence in the bowl that my bowel was empty. I was there so long at times my legs would fall asleep. I continued struggling with my movements until I was 21 or 22. I know, that's not something any of us want to admit, but if I can do it, I think you can come forth too. It's time we do something to remedy the issue. Let me tell you something else, it's not what comes out, but what is left behind that hurts you. What goes in must come out. Think about ‘that' for a moment. If the body was supposed to store it's ‘waste' inside of you, there wouldn't be a process to drop it out your backside to begin with, and it wouldn't be so uncomfortable for you when it doesn't. No, it's not ‘normal' to struggle to have a bowel movement. If constipation, diarrhea or the feeling you're giving birth every time you want to go poo-poo has been plaguing you, it may be time to give Mother Nature a hand. No? Well, what you're doing now isn't working is it? Listen to your body. It's giving you a subliminal message. “Clean me… Clean me…” Seriously. The colon needs to be cleaned inside and out. Just to make sure we erase the errors of your past, I suggest you begin by performing a regular series of daily enemas for a short period of time. Don't kid yourself. If you are constipated, you are toxic, and the fastest route to detoxifying the body after straightening the diet up is by giving yourself a good pipe cleaning. Sorry, fiber supplements aren't enough to solve your problem. Fiber helps to prevent further constipation, but if all you needed is ‘more' fiber right now, we wouldn't be here. Why doesn't it? Because fiber doesn't dislodge what's trapped in there. It merely gets the fresh stuff past the crusty parts. The solution? Go out to the local drug store today and buy a half-gallon enema bag.
